NEWS

Chris Senn Takes The Gold
Chris SennChris Senn, sporting a gray Heckler T-shirt, seemed to be skating with more speed and precision than anyone during the practice session and he took the gold medal. The key to Chris' run was that he didn't fall, no matter how hard the trick was. He follwoed through high speed 50-50's, kickflips over the gap, boardslides and one sick ollie over the handrail. Senn started off with a boardslide down the handrail and immediately when into an ollie to 50-50. At that point he must have just used the force, linking together tricks with the greatest of ease. Chris was the only competitor to score in the 90's with a 91.25 out of 100. Pat Channita and Chad Fernandez made it a California sweep with silver and bronze medals respectively.

Hawk Makes History
Tony HawkThe king of vert makes history again!! The 900!!! When he landed it everyone rushed the ramp. He was immediately tackled and then tossed into the air by his fellow skateboarders like a scene out of Rocky. With his fists pumped in the air, Tony Hawk called it the "best day of his life" when he pulled off a 900 after half dozen attempts in the Best Trick competition at the X Games.
